This works amazing at removing the deep, old hair in a cat’s coat so well. It doesn’t matter if the cat is long hair or short hair, it works on both. It has two different sides. The one spaced further apart works great for long haired cats, especially if they haven’t been groomed in a long time. You can use the other side once you remove tangles and the bulk of hair.
IT works really well! But if you BACKCOMB you can accidentally rip out fur that's still attached. NEVER BACKCOMB. Brush with the direction of growth. The handle is easy on the hands and it's quite sturdy overall. Great product.
Best dog grooming brush, dog loves it no fighting to brush him. No pulling but removes the hair.
My cat usually hates brushes, but this one she tolerates. Short sessions remove plenty of fluff.
I have a husky and he shed all year. The groomer recently told me to get rid of the furminator brush as it starts to hurt their skin after a while. She told me to get a rake brush like she uses. This thing is amazing. All that hair is from under 10 min.
